About

Our main objective is to contribute to the physical, affective, social and intellectual development of the youngest, creating for them an affective-educational environment that allows them to fully develop.

We seek to facilitate individual and social development with quality assistance and education, personalized and focused on the needs, interests, and skills of children.

Objectives of our program:

Our program is designed to encourage our children to strengthen and develop their own identity through games and relationships with other children in their environment and are thus able to fully develop all the skills necessary for their education and emotional development.

This is an ideal stage to learn social relationships, language, behavior and develop physical and psychological skills among others. We rely on an active and participatory learning method that allows the child to develop a broad vision of the world around him.

A fundamental aspect of our program is the familiarization with the Spanish language in order to initiate the youngest in this language and to foster their interest in learning it.

For us, it is important for children to grow up happy, and that is the goal to which we direct our entire educational effort.

Testimonial

We are relatively young and a new family in Calgary. We have two kids, four and two years old. When my wife decided to work in summer of 2015, my second son was only around one year old. For us personally, it was a very difficult decision to send our kids to a daycare facility as they had never been out with anyone else except us, especially the second one who was just one year old. However, since both of us had to work, we were left with no option and hence started looking around for a suitable daycare facility.

There are a lot of reputed daycares in South. But, none of them had any immediate openings. We got our kids waitlisted in one of the most recommended ones by our near and dear ones. Their earliest opening seemed to be in a couple of months. And for this interim period, we decided to send our kids to a “day home” since all “daycares” had a waitlist. We decided to go with “Always Friends” temporarily for few months, since they were located close to our house and fortunately had openings available. We told them our bit with the waitlisting in the daycare and they didn’t hesitate with our request and agreed to help us for the short time period. The kids were happy to go to the day home and they got acquainted in a weeks’ time. They liked it there, they were always happy to go to the day home. We never had any complaints with food or anything else. But since it was temporary,  we didn’t bother paying as much attention. Finally, when the day arrived, we moved our kids to the reputed daycare. With time we as parents immediately felt the changing emotions in our kids. We saw them not happy and always crying and whining. They fell sick regularly. They even lost a little weight. We waited for about a month and it was nothing like how it was with “Always friends day home”. The very next month we moved back to Paula and Maria and ever since it’s clear that we were not going anywhere else.

It’s interesting to note that we don’t share any cultural similarity with Paola and Maria. But our interaction with them has always been very pleasant. Now they are almost like family to us. Our kids love them a lot. Both Paula and Maria provide a very homely environment. They give a lot of importance towards kids personality development. Our kids are learning a little bit of Spanish, and at home, they try to teach us. I can say one to ten in Spanish myself and I totally like it. They do crafts, dancing, and various fun activities together which our kids enjoy thoroughly. They don’t get tired talking about their daily experiences at the day home with us every day. They have a lot of good stories to share. They also helped the kids with basic etiquettes, like a greeting, table manners, potty training etc. It did take a big burden of us as they were ready for school.  We are the first-hand witness of the positive development that our kids have experienced and we just thank God for helping us meet Paula and Maria. They have also been very accommodative on a personal front. My wife had to undergo a surgery and at that time we needed extra support and they were always ready to provide anything and everything that we would request for. It has been a really smooth sailing for us and we sincerely wish the same for all families planning to come to “Always Friends day home”.

We very strongly recommend to anyone who is contemplating trying them. You will surely love it.
